Junior Monster Hunters – A Hands-On, Immersive Theater Experience for Kids Ages 8–14

Become a Junior Monster Hunter with the Van Helsing Society

At Audacious Immersive’s Monster Hunter Camp in Denver, kids don’t just attend summer camp—they step into a fantastical world. Campers join the Van Helsing Society, a conservation-minded organization of mythological naturalists devoted to studying and protecting legendary creatures from folklore around the globe.

Through role-play, story-driven missions, and daily quests, recruits follow clues, solve puzzles and riddles, make teamwork-based choices, and meet in-world characters who need help. Along the way, they’ll learn creature lore and world folklore—and use what they discover to complete their assignments with curiosity, courage, and care.

The Final Experience

Campers are officially welcomed into the Society with a Junior Monster Hunter certificate—and a dragon egg keepsake with a tiny hatchling inside.

We’ve been building immersive experiences for over a decade—and now we’re bringing that same creativity to kids. While this is our first youth summer program, our team has deep experience in theater, storytelling, and working with young artists.
